Little red dress
with a neckline a mile-deep—
Go ahead. Look over the edge.
Wear it in a river
and it’ll stay dry
as the water runs
its hands up your thighs.
The iron ruching
holds your gentle curves.
Maybe it was formed by the water.
Maybe you were.
You take it off,
leave it in the dressing room.
Damn it.
Buy the white dress instead.
